JSC Executive Director Foy Named US Club National id2 Scout
Scouts from across the country identify players for inclusion in the id2 Regional Training Camps as they compete in their own environment with their club teams. id2 scouts evaluate players at all US Club Soccer National Cup Regionals, as well as at matches and tournaments staged throughout the year.

Unlike ODP, parents do not have to assume the expense of multiple costly tryout camps (that also remove players from their club programs for significant periods of time) to ensure their players are seen by id2 scouts. The id2 selection process is apolitical as players are identified regardless of their affiliation (i.e. US Club Soccer, USYSA, AYSO, non-affiliated, etc.).

“I am very excited about this appointment on both a personal, club and community level. It means that every player I have the opportunity to watch regardless of what color the jersey they are wearing has the opportunity to be invited to a regional camp at no cost to them," said Foy.  "Soccer is a great sport and reasonably inexpensive to play in comparison to other sports. However, sometimes kids do miss out on opportunities due to finances and talent should never be stopped because of a lack of funds. I hope this will allow not only our own players further developmental pathways but also players in other programs as we should all be working together to benefit the players we see on the field”.
