The JSC academy staff invites all current JYL recreation players (U6, U8 and U10) and anyone else interested in learning more about our academy program to an open session on Thursday, May 2nd.  The session will last from 6:00-7:15pm with a question and answer session following for parents. 
 

Jamestown Soccer Club will hold evaluations for the 2013-14 academy season May 20th and 21st.  Online registration opens on 4/15 and ends on 5/15.  Registration cost is $20.  After 5/15, the registration fee will be $25.  On-site registration begins at 5:00pm, so please arrive early.  All players should bring water, inflated size 4 ball and shinguards. 
 

Jamestown Soccer Club and PTFC are excited to announce we have signed on to be a host for a World Futbol Tour small sided soccer tournaments to be held on July 6th at Beeson Park in Kernersville. 

The First Annual PTFC Uncle Sam Summer Soccer Jam, presented by PTFC is a part of a regional and national tour of 3v3 and 6v6 events for all ages and skill levels.  The addition of our event will fit in perfectly for teams that want to compete regularly in the area with events in Greensboro, Lexington, and Winston Salem to have our close to home tournament circuit.  This will be perfect for the kids that just want to play and for the dedicated teams that want to compete to earn points in the WFT series to advance to their National Championship!

 Jamestown Soccer Club’s Youth Academy program is available for 7-10 year olds who are ready to advance beyond that of the recreation level.  In accordance with United States Youth Soccer and the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association, our academy program focuses on individual player development.

With the de-emphasis of wins/losses the academy can focus on improving each player’s individual technical ability.  This creates an environment that allows players to be creative and not worry about making a mistake on the field. 

Jamestown Soccer Club has joined Piedmont Soccer Alliance and Kernersville Soccer Association under the Piedmont Triad Football Club umbrella.  Starting in the fall of 2012 these three clubs will host each other for academy events, training sessions and share resources.  We are excited to join PTFC and look forward to this academy year.
