The Jamestown Soccer Club and its parent organization, Jamestown Youth League, are proud to boast Alan Foy as the club’s first Executive Director. The Executive Directors role was born out of the growing needs of the organization and its future plans. Alan was appointed in April 2008 from USSF Development Academy Program Weston FC where he served as the Director of Operations and as a senior member of the technical staff.

Prior to working with Weston FC, Foy worked in the front office of Major League Soccer franchises -- Miami Fusion F.C. and Tampa Bay Mutiny as a Regional Director where he managed community development and outreach programming amongst other duties.  Additionally Foy worked closely with numerous non-profit soccer organizations in regard to club infrastructure, player and facility development and camp programming. Foy also conducted numerous coaching education clinics and certification classes for AYSO in his capacity as a Nationally Licensed Instructor and has coached at the Semi Professional level for both Men and Women. He holds the USSF National "B" License, USYS National Youth License, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, ICA Fitness & Conditioning Certificate and earned an honors degree in Secondary Physical Education & Science. Alan is part of the North Carolina ODP and instructional staff, is a National Scout for US Club Soccer id2 program works with Guilford College Men's and Women's programs as an assistant coach.

As the club’s Executive Director, Foy’s role see’s him oversee the club’s infrastructure, which includes among other things coaching appointments, player development programs, facility management and club relationships.
