Jammers Try Outs are open to all

The club operates a Limited Cut policy for existing JSC member’s trying out for the U10, U11 and U12 age groups. This means that Jamestown Soccer Club players who currently play U10 or U11 (or players of that age that played up at U12) age groups are not guaranteed a place in the program for the following season, but we will do our best to ensure a spot so long as at least one team is formed in their true age group at the players appropriate level. This does not exclude the player from being moved to a different team within their age bracket, example; A player moving from the gold team to the blue team is not a “cut” as they are still being offered a place in the program.

It is important to the Jamestown Soccer Club that our members understand that we want all players to remain a part of the program and that while some players may not be offered a roster spot, we will always try our best to place a player within our program or provide assistance in finding a suitable alternative, including offering training spots with a fee including the ability to play in the JYL Recreation Program. 

Please note that the JSC reserves the right to make recommendations to existing members about moving to a different level of play even if they fall under the limited cut rule.
