Maintaining Health; Preventing Injuries; & How To Maximize Your Potential Through Proper Nutrition

While every one of our players has the ability to go a long way with the game of soccer, none of them will be able to reach their full potential without first making a commitment to remaining healthy.

By nature the game of soccer is physically demanding and can tax even the best natural athletes. As such we have worked to compile a virtual library of resources touching on how each player can best prepare him or herself to not only excel in the game, but to maintain their new found levels of fitness.

On the left side of this page you will see various links to videos, articles, and other resources for you to review at your leisure.

We are always looking for new and innovative articles and videos. If you have or come across something you would like to share with the rest of the membership, please contact us with a link or file.

We hope this section of the website will serve as an educational resource for those outside of the professional soccer trainer community to better educate them on the role of the athletic trainer; the responsibilities of the athletes; and the physical demands the game requires.

Video Library - How To Tape An Ankle

If you do encounter an ankle injury, here is a great way to rehab it.  It should not replace an evaluation by your physician. This routine generally takes 20 minutes and should be done three times per week until full recovery. Do not attempt this program if you experience pain.
