The 92 Jammers Blue traveled to Memphis, TN to compete in the John Talley Showcase over the weekend of March 26 – 28.

The 92 Blue went 2 – 0 – 1 through the preliminary rounds.  On Saturday morning they faced ASA Extreme out of Georgia and won 2 – 0.  The second game of Saturday put them against NKY Alliance Red Premier out of Kentucky.  The Blue won 4 – 1.  In the third preliminary game the 92 Blue squared off against Campton United White out of Indiana.  The score ended in a 0 – 0 draw. 

With the 2 wins and a draw the 92 Blue advanced to the finals and were matched against the Darlington Soccer Academy out Rome, GA.  The game was a very fast paced 18 to 18 battle.  The Darlington side struck first at the 16 minute mark of the first half.  The 92 Blue found the equalizer at the midpoint of the second half.  Regulation ended with the teams knotted at 1 – 1.  Both teams battled through the two overtimes to remain at 1 – 1.  This meant that they would have to go to the spot to determine the champions.  The 92 Blue won on penalties by a score of 3 – 1.
